I am from Hamilton, Virginia. Iām in 8th grade at Blue Ridge Middle School, I play baseball for the Shenandoah Sluggers and the Blue Ridge Bulldogs.
1. Tell us a little about yourself. Where are you from? What do you do for a living?
2. What brought you in to Catoctin CrossFit? What made you want to stay?
I started CrossFit to build muscle, improve speed and mobility to enhance my baseball career. What made me stay was that everyone was incredibly encouraging and kind to me while I was learning the basics of CrossFit.
3. What are some of the changes you’ve experienced since starting at Catoctin CrossFit that were unexpected (new friends, goals, social events, etc.)?
Some new changes that Iāve experienced is that Iāve gotten to workout with my friends and my mom and thatās very special to me.
4. What was your first day at CCF like and what motivates you to keep coming back to Catoctin CrossFit.
My first day at Catoctin was great everyone was so helpful with all my questions, I keep coming back to workout because the social environment is amazing.
5. Tell us some of your recent accomplishments. What goals do you have for this year?
Some of my recent accomplishments have been batting .400 on my travel baseball team. One of my goals include dead lifting 215 by the beginning of June, and getting a 6 minute mile.
6. What advice would you give to someone who is thinking about trying a class at Catoctin CrossFit?
I would tell them to try their best and not to rush weightlifting. Never slow down even if your out of breath or feeling weak during the workout.
7. What is something that CrossFit has taught you about yourself and how has it made your life better?
CrossFit has taught me to never give up, it has most certainly enhanced my life because it has gotten me in impeccable shape.
8. Do you have a favorite workout? What movements does your favorite workout include?
One of my favorite workouts is dead lifts, wall balls, bench press, tire flipping and snow burpees.
